Vega Sport Electrolyte Hydrator: Why I Can't Tell if itDoes #FuelYourBetter

Recently, I was selected by Sweat Pink Ambassadors to review Vega Sport products. I had chosen the Electrolyte Hydrator as my product to review because I figured it would be great for these hot Florida summers, especially since I have just returned to running again.

Although I received Vega Sport products in exchange for my review, all opinions are my own.

One of the questions we are asked to address in this review is how we used the product to #FuelYourBetter. I first used the Electrolyte Hydrator after a particularly sweaty run where I felt run down and my energy levels were low when I returned to my house. I mixed one packet with 16 oz of water and sipped. I have to be honest: I did not like the taste of the powder. I figured that it was because I wasn't used to mixing my water with anything and decided I would have to try it again. I did feel better after I drank it, but the product was hard for me to force down.

I tried Vega Sport Electrolyte Hydrator again a couple more times while I was doing walks in Costa Rica. Because I was in the tropics, the weather is incredibly humid and I sweat more quickly. This time, I couldn't even force the water down. I mixed the powder with more water than I did the first time, and it didn't help. Because I couldn't get past the taste, I cannot give an honest opinion about whether or not Vega Sport Electrolyte Hydrator really does #FuelYourBetter

While I am grateful for the opportunity to review a Vega Sport product, I will not be purchasing these products in the future for myself. The powder itself tastes very artificial to me and the taste was not appealing. I did feel like I had energy and was replenished after my first use of the product, but I honestly cannot tell you if that was because I had drank the water or the powder.

Have you tried any Vega Sport products? What is one supplement that you cannot force down, even if everyone else enjoys it?
